Khorneflakes I hate the internet based homework that Covenant expects you to do before you pay to see that terrible movie. If it's not in the film itself but you need it to understand parts of the film, then the film is a failure of storytelling.

I just love the show version. It has so many symbolisms and hidden meanings. From how the victims are displayed to how Hannibal and will have a true deep connection.
1st and 2nd were hauntingly beautiful in visuals as well as storytelling/character development but the 3rd had too many varying tones and just wasn't nearly as engaging. However that last episode and final scene was perfect, the series redeemed itself with that ending. And I am very glad it did end instead of some ridiculous unrealistic "resurrection" to justify a 4th season.
I agree, whole 1st season and first half of 2nd and last episode of 2nd were were amazing! Third season with exception of season finale was disappointing, 70% of it was slow motion scenes and while I love them for how artistic they are, I wish there was more plot. The ending was perfect though.
I'd love to see an analysis of the movie "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping", which is a parody of the modern music industry. It's a goofy romp, to be sure, but it's got way more depth than it's usually given credit for.

Prometheus is a very ambitious attempt at lore building for the alien universe, but somthing about it didn't resonate with many. i only say this becuse ive never really met a person who claims to enjoy it
Reece Crump I like that theory. I would argue that Dr. Frankenstein didn't make the creature to be a biological weapon, but he firmly believed that man was ready to create life. His creation was flawed and Frankenstein realized that man shouldn't have that power to create life and abandoned the creature, a major set back because the creature just had the equivalent of a hard drive wipe and hard restart. all the hardware and basic operating system, no software and drivers to function as a normal person.
I know a few who liked Prometheus... People's opinions on this movie is pretty divisive, however. And then it gets to Alien: Covenant and a LOT of people that are so upset it's an Alien movie, blaming Alien fans entirely; and then there are others, such as reviewers, scathingly saying its a rehash of Prometheus... again. Well I guess the whole overarching story is about Micheal Fassbender's character, the Android David who stole the fire of the gods.

I thought it was alright, watched it with a friend for the first time yesterday. It just didn't feel much like the alien franchise, especially when you compare it to the just released alien movie. I will say I don't really get why this so called intelligent being who is awoken suddenly starts to attack the humans. Well I get what they are trying to say, but it just seems very stupid since for all that creature knows the ship could be surrounded and so most beings with average-high intelligence would find themselves going a diplomacy route. It kinda made it feel like just another big monster.

I mentioned the same thing about Jesus being part of some type of alien race and some people complained about it in my video. There's alot of biblical references we can take from these movies which makes them very interesting. I'm open to the idea of some things being out of the ordinary if there's evidence that there is something linking it to other events.
